Purearth Spa & Farm Retreat

The Client: Purearth Spa & Farm Retreat is an intimate 4-season retreat in central Prince Edward Island owned and operated by Susie Wilson. She offers a range of services designed to rejuvenate the mind and body, as well as day retreat packages. Overnight accommodations are currently under construction.

The Challenge: Susie was getting ready to launch Purearth when she reached out to me. She needed support with building her brand identity, brand strategy, website, and messaging. She explained that she wanted Purearth to be a place of rejuvenation and healing, rather than aesthetics/beauty, as reflected in the services offered. It was also important to Susie that the website messaging convey her deeply-held values.

The Solution: First, I recommended that Susie connect with Ashe Green at Hijinks Agency for the website build and visual identity. At the same time, I took the lead on the brand strategy and messaging. We also recommended she work with Meghan Weber of MirrorForm Photography for her brand photography. Ashe, Meghan, and I collaborated to ensure the visual brand and messaging were aligned with the overarching brand strategy I built for Purearth Spa & Farm Retreat. The result is a cohesive brand that’s conveyed through every element of the website - the imagery, the colour palette, the messaging, the service descriptions, and the overall user experience. Visiting the website is like getting a first taste of how you’ll feel when you arrive at the farm in Breadalbane - relaxed, calm, and connected to what really matters.
